Roulette is a very easy to learn and really exciting game. The roulette wheel consists of slots or “pockets” numbered from 1 to 36, which are either red or black. If you are playing at a table with a 5 dollar minimum, you are required to place 5 dollars on each of your outside bets, and-or a total of at least 5 dollars on your inside bets (inside & outside bets are explained in a second). Once the bets have been placed on the table, the wheel starts spinning and a small ball is released on to the wheel in the opposite direction of the spinning wheel. If the roulette ball lands in the 0 slot, the game ends and all players receive half their original bets back. Losing bets are collected and winning bets are paid. After the wheel stops the dealer will then mark the winning number on the betting area and the bets are paid accordingly.
